Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fried gram pottukadalai
  • 1 cup sugar reduce to ¾ cup if preferred
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • ¼ cup ghee
  • Chopped cashews

Equipment

  • mixie
  • siever

Method
 

  1. Grind fried gram in mixie to a fine powder.
  2. Grind sugar separately to a fine powder.
  3. Sieve both powders and add to a bowl.
  4. Add cardamom powder and mix well.
  5. Heat ghee and fry chopped cashews until golden.
  6. Add hot ghee and cashews to the powder mixture.
  7. Mix everything together really well.
  8. Shape into round laddus while mixture is still medium hot.
  9. Add little more warm ghee if needed to bind.
  10. Let cool completely and store in airtight container.
