How to Make Curd Tadka
This recipe is as simple as it gets โ but every step matters for that perfect flavour.
Heat oil in a pan. Add jeera and let it splutter. Add chopped garlic and chopped onion. Fry well until the onion softens completely.
Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt. Add a little water so the masalas don’t burn โ this small step makes a big difference. Fry well until everything is cooked and fragrant.
Now add the well whisked curd. This is important โ whisk the curd really well before adding so it’s completely smooth with no lumps. Mix everything together really well.
Add a pinch of sugar if needed โ this balances the tanginess of the curd beautifully. Completely optional but worth trying!
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
