Frequently Asked Questions

Can I skip frying the soya?
You can, but you’ll miss the best part! Frying the marinated soya gives it a slightly crisp texture that soaks up the gravy and makes every bite more flavourful. Don’t skip it. You can also air fry the soya

Can I use coconut milk instead of fresh cream?
Yes β€” coconut milk works well for a dairy-free version. Add it at the end on low flame just like you would with cream but the taste changes

How do I make soya chunks less chewy?
Boil the soya chunks in salted water, squeeze out excess water completely, then marinate. Squeezing well before marinating is key to good texture.
