My kids absolutely love this creamy cheesy pasta — and honestly I do too. It tastes exactly like café style pasta but made right at home in just 10 minutes. No fancy ingredients, no complicated steps.

And here’s my favourite way to have it — a bowl of this creamy pasta with a cold coffee on the side. Day sorted. ☕🍝

This one is a keeper for quick lunches, easy dinners and those late night cravings when you want something indulgent but don’t want to spend hours in the kitchen. 😄

Why You’ll Love This Creamy Cheesy Pasta

🍝 Ready in just 10 minutes — faster than ordering from a café!

🧀 Cheese slices + milk = the creamiest sauce with zero effort.

🌶️ Schezwan sauce gives it that café style kick that everyone loves.

✨ Magic masala — the secret ingredient that makes everything taste better! 😄

👶 Kids approved — shell pasta is perfect for little ones to eat easily.

☕ Pair with cold coffee — the ultimate combo for a perfect lazy day!

How to Make Creamy Cheesy Pasta

Start by boiling your shell pasta until cooked. Shell pasta is perfect for this recipe — the creamy sauce gets inside each shell and every bite is full of flavour. Keep the boiled pasta aside.

In a pan add the cheese slices, schezwan sauce and tomato sauce. Mix everything together on low flame. The cheese will start melting and combining with the sauces to create a beautiful creamy base.

Now add milk and keep stirring on low flame until everything comes together into a smooth creamy sauce. Don’t rush this step — low and slow gives you the creamiest result.

Add red chilli flakes, oregano, magic masala and salt. Mix well and adjust the spices to your taste. The magic masala here is the secret — it adds that extra punch that makes this taste like café style pasta! 😄

Add the boiled shell pasta and mix everything together really well until every piece of pasta is coated in that creamy cheesy sauce.

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot! 🍝🤍

Pair with a cold coffee and your day is completely sorted ☕

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use any pasta for this recipe?
Yes! Any pasta works but shell pasta is recommended because the creamy sauce gets inside each shell giving you maximum flavour in every bite. Penne and fusilli also work well.

Can I skip the schezwan sauce?
Yes — replace with extra tomato sauce or add a dash of hot sauce instead. But schezwan sauce gives it that special café style flavour so try not to skip it!

What is Magic Masala?
Magic masala is the tastemaker from Maggi or similar brands. It adds a unique spicy tangy flavour that makes this pasta taste like café style. You can find it in any supermarket.

Can I make this without milk?
Milk is what makes the sauce creamy. You can replace with fresh cream for an even richer sauce or use a little pasta cooking water for a lighter version.

Is this good for kids?
Absolutely! My kids love this recipe. Use shell pasta for easy eating and reduce the schezwan sauce to 1 tbsp for less spice. Skip the chilli flakes for very young kids.

Can I make this ahead of time?
Best eaten fresh — creamy pasta tends to thicken as it cools. If making ahead add a splash of milk when reheating and mix well.

A Note From My Kitchen 🤍

This recipe came from one of those days when the fridge was almost empty but the craving for something delicious was very real. 😄

A few cheese slices, some sauces, a packet of magic masala and shell pasta — and somehow it turned into the most café style pasta my family has ever tasted at home.

My kids ask for this regularly now. And I always make it with a cold coffee on the side.

Sometimes the simplest recipes are the most delicious ones. This pasta is proof of that. 🍝🤍
